This Cancellation Policy sets out the terms and procedures governing the cancellation of marketing service engagements with R.K Marketing Private Limited ("we", "us"). We aim to make the cancellation process as clear, fair, and straightforward as possible for all parties.
By engaging our services, you agree to the terms of this Cancellation Policy. We recommend reading this policy alongside our Refund Policy and Terms of Service.
You may cancel any ongoing monthly retainer engagement by providing a minimum of 30 days' written notice to info@rkmarketing.site. The notice period begins on the date we acknowledge receipt of your written cancellation request.
During the 30-day notice period, we will continue to deliver services at the agreed level and will invoice normally for work performed. You are responsible for payment of all invoices raised during the notice period.
Stopping payment or ceasing to respond to communications does not constitute valid cancellation. The 30-day notice period and associated payment obligations apply regardless of whether you continue to engage with our team during that period.
If you cancel a project engagement before any work has commenced (i.e., before the project kickoff meeting and before any research, strategy, or production work has begun), the initial deposit will be refunded in full, less any direct costs already incurred (e.g., third-party research costs, software licences purchased on your behalf).
If you cancel a project engagement after work has commenced, you will be charged for all work completed to the date of cancellation, calculated on a time-and-materials basis at our standard day rates. The initial deposit will be applied against this charge. If the value of work completed exceeds the initial deposit, an additional invoice will be raised for the balance.
We will provide all completed deliverables to you upon cancellation and payment of all outstanding charges. Partially completed deliverables will be provided in their current state and are not subject to further development after cancellation.
We reserve the right to cancel any service engagement immediately and without notice in the following circumstances:
In cases of company-initiated cancellation due to non-payment or breach, no refund of fees already paid will be provided.
If you wish to temporarily pause services rather than cancel, please contact us at info@rkmarketing.site to discuss your requirements. We will accommodate pause requests where operationally feasible, subject to a minimum pause period of one calendar month and a maximum of three consecutive months. Paused engagements resume at the same fee level unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Upon cancellation of any engagement, we are committed to a professional and thorough handover. Within 10 business days of the final service date, we will provide:
Handover is conditional upon all outstanding invoices being settled in full.
Upon cancellation, we will pause all active advertising campaigns on the effective cancellation date unless you instruct us otherwise. You will retain full ownership of and access to your advertising platform accounts and any unspent budget therein.
